Date of Birth: 10 February 1910 Although he appeared in numerous films, he was in real-life Ray Milland's stand-in. He was given small uncredited acting parts in Milland's films, which led to his being cast in several featured parts including The Monitor in _This Island Earth (1955)_ (qv) and as Scotty the reporter in _The Thing from Another World (1951)_ (qv). One of his last performances was a two headed alien in the _"The Twilight Zone" (1959)_ (qv) episode "Mr. Dingle the Strong.".Appeared as Beetle, the first person 'Ray ... Milland' (qv) sees after regaining consciousness in the alcoholic ward after falling down the stairway in _The Lost Weekend (1945)_ (qv).
