Date of Birth: 11 March 1931 Diane Brewster was born on March 11, 1931, in Kansas City, Missouri. She was largely a character actress in both motion pictures and television. She was 24 years old when she began acting on TV. Her first roles was in a few episodes of the westerns _"Cheyenne" (1955)_ (qv) and _"Zane Grey Theater" (1956)_ (qv). Her first motion picture roles was as Sylvia Quentin in _Pharaoh's Curse (1957)_ (qv) in 1956. However, most older viewers remember her as the attractive grade school teacher Miss Canfiel... d on the popular TV comedy series _"Leave It to Beaver" (1957)_ (qv). While her last big screen appearance was as Kate Lawrence in _The Young Philadelphians (1959)_ (qv) in 1959, Diane made one more TV appearance on _"Family Affair" (1966)_ (qv) in 1966.
