For her roles in Inside Moves (1980) and Mommie Dearest (1981), she became the first actress ever to go from being an Oscar nominee to a Razzie "winner" in just one year. In mini-movies, she won an Emmy nomination playing "First Lady" Bess Truman in Truman (1995) (TV) and later played Rose Kennedy in J.F.K.: Reckless Youth (1993) (TV). Appeared in the National Shakespeare Conservatory production of "Spoon River Anthology" in New York. ... Graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York and Pace University's Theatre Arts Program.
