Date of Birth: 9 August 1938 Before pursing acting, he was a fireman. He was a Golden Gloves referee in Dallas, Texas, before he was an actor. Professional boxing referee and judge in the State of California. Gilliam's granddaughter, Hollie Vise, is one of the top gymnasts in the USA and an Olympic hopeful. In 2001, at age 13, she won the silver medal at the USA Junior National Championships. Met Madeline Kahn for the first time while making the film Paper Moon (1973). She predicted that the two of them would work together again. Within three months, both of them had been cast in Blazing Saddles (1974). ...
