Name: Britt Leach
Date of Birth: 18 July 1938 Mid-1960s alumnus of Birmingham-Southern College, Birmingham, Alabama Active in college theater. Most memorable role was Officer Dogberry in a 1920s silent movie style version of Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing He dropped out of Northwestern University. Worked briefly in Army intelligence. He graduated from McCallie, a college prep school near Chattanooga, Tennessee in 1956. For seven years beginning in 1991, he published "Country Connections", a bi-monthly journal that stressed the ecology, animal rights, and "progressive politics". The journal folded in 1999, but some archival material can still be found on the web at http://www.countryink.com ... Shared an apartment with Ray Manzarek and Jim Morrison of The Doors.
