Date of Birth: Benjamin Mouton credits his high school teacher Novalyne Price Ellis for inspiring him to become a professional actor. Years after graduation, he would appear in a movie based upon her memoirs of her relationship with fantasy writer Robert E. Howard, The Whole Wide World (1996). After high school, he studied at New York City's American Academy of Dramatic Arts. In 1984, he received the school's coveted Jehlinger award.
